Summary
Because Japan was about to surrender anyways, the United States was unjustified in dropping the atomic bomb because much destruction was created and many innocent lives were lost. The makers of the bomb did not completely understand what they were doing, and were very naive. They did not take into account the destruction and devastation of the civilians of Japan. The government of the United States had stated it was wrong to bomb civilians, as did the League of Nations. Yet, the United States did not take its own advice and still bombed Japan. The radiation from the bomb caused many instant deaths and sometimes even ripped the skin right off of live humans. The worst devastation was that of the offspring of the people that were struck by the bomb. Because of all these reasons, and so many more, it was most definitely unjust and unnecessary to drop the atomic bomb.
